International Childrens Theatre and Dance Festival
WANTED: 6 DANCE PRACTITIONERS
for Professional Development Project in Spain and East Midlands
The opportunity: 2 weeks at the studio of Enrique Cabrera (Arcaladanza) in Madrid; 2 weeks intensive choeographic project with an international choreographer; 3 weeks development and delivery of an education programme linked to the above.
The criteria for eligibility: Must be based in or regularly working in either Nottingham, Derby or Leicester and able to demonstrate a keen interest in developing work with and for children; must be willing to develop and deliver education work.
The timeframe: The 7 weeks will take place in three blocks of time between January and June culminating with Aracaldanza's tour in June 2007.

In 2006, with support from Three Cities Create and Connect, iNada Nada by Madrid based company Aracaladanza was performed at the Children's Arts Festivals in each of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.
This beautiful production was conceived by the company's Artistic Director Enrique Cabrera and has toured worldwide to public and critical acclaim.
iNada...Nada! is suitable for 4 years and upwards and takes the audience on a fantastical under-sea voyage where the imagination can run riot alongside brightly-clad divers, colourful fish, mermaids and clams...
