Recent Project - A Funny Place

In the Summer, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham  banded together to prove that together they are "A Funny Place"

The full programme of events included Stand up Comedy Courses in each city in spring led by Anthony King.  Anthony has run successful courses in Leicester under the banner "Leicester Stands Up".  The courses which ran over 8 weeks were targeted at excluded groups from each city and  culminatee in a special showcase show at the end of the course.

"A Funny Place" also included "Best of  Leicester" Comedy Festival Shows across the region in June which featured the very best new and established talent from this years Leicester Comedy Festival.
