Recent project - Film City

 

In 2006 Film City worked with the new Media and Arts Centre Quad in Derby to create a series of experimental/musical digital shorts made by budding young digital artists, performers, musicians and writers from across the region.  The resulting masterpieces were screened on the BBC Big screen in Derby late in the Summer at an outdoor event that also hosted performances from the young artists.

Film City worked in partnership with BabyJ and The Madely Centre in Derby, Bathysphere Sound Studio in Leicester and Take 1 Studio in Nottingham to create the sound and musical scores for these digital pieces that were an innovative and diverse mix of creative talent from across the Three Cities.
