Three Cities Film Commission
Terzetto - A Composition of Three Voices
Throughout 2005
In 2005, the Three Cities Create and Connect Moving Image Commission was awarded to Wellington Films working in collaboration with photographic artist Amanda Smith.

In March 2006, Terzetto, a fifteen minute short art film by Amanda Smith and John Ross (produced by Wellington Films) was premiered at a celebration of the Three Cities Create and Connect activities that took place in 2005/2006.

The aim of the film was to create an audio-visual montage capturing the beating hearts of the cities from the perspective of the roads and streets that create vein-like routes through the urban landscape.

Integral to the stylised visual perspective and the accompanying soundscape, is the perceptions of the people using and working in the streets – traffic wardens, street cleaners, taxi drivers, maintenance staff. The film completes a day in the life of the three cities over twenty four hours, from dawn to daybreak.
